Navpreet Dhillon is an award winning eye surgeon who specialises in cataract, cornea, anterior segment and refractive surgery.

She is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Leicester Royal Infirmary which is a large tertiary referral centre for cornea and ocular surface disease.

Dr Dhillon graduated from the University of Birmingham and then went onto complete her Ophthalmology training in Birmingham. She has completed 9 years of advanced surgical and research training in ophthalmology. This included a prestigious 2 year fellowship at the world renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital and at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. Her world class training means that she offers world class care.

She has an interest in research with 20 publications ranging from book chapters to peer reviewed papers on corneal and cataract conditions and continues to initiate and supervise clinic research projects at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

She specialises in small incision cataract surgery, premium/bespoke multifocal and toric intra-ocular lenses, treatment of keratoconus, corneal transplantation including full thickness, llamellar and partial thickness transplants and all forms of eye surface disease. Her patients appreciate her gentle and empathetic approach to management of their eye conditions.

Dr Dhillon is also a representative of the Regional Royal College Examination, East Midlands and a Royal College Examinations Examiner.

She is also the current Training Programme Director for East Midlands South and a Council Member on UKISCRS.
